Can a UAE-based founder of any nationality apply for mentorship?

Yes. The mentorship is designed for UAE-based entrepreneurs regardless of nationality. Show eligibility remains subject to the organizers' current application rules.

Is the mentoring offered in Arabic?

The current mentoring offering is in English. Arabic-language pitch coaching or translation support must be arranged separately if needed.

Does the service continue after filming?

Yes. The scope includes preparation for possible broadcast exposure and assistance organizing and responding to post-airing investor due-diligence requests.

What does Selection or Money Back mean?

Under the AED 39,000 plan, the selection milestone is official written confirmation inviting your business or founder to the principal final Shark Tank Dubai studio shoot. If that milestone is not reached within the eligible seasons covered by your signed agreement, the mentorship fee is refundable according to the agreement’s terms.

What does the guarantee cover, and what must I do?

The guarantee is built around two eligible application seasons, with a maximum programme period of 36 months. You must submit eligible applications on time, actively participate in preparation, attend invited auditions, provide accurate information, and keep the mentor updated on show communications. These terms must be confirmed in your UAE-specific signed agreement.

How and when is a refund processed?

Where no final-shoot selection occurs by the contractual refund determination date, submit a written refund request within 90 days. Eligibility is verified within 15 business days of the request; an eligible refund is paid within 45 business days after verification. Refunds exclude actual non-refundable processing charges and unrecoverable statutory taxes, as defined in the signed agreement.

GUARANTEED SELECTION OR MONEY-BACK AGREEMENT — UAE

This Guaranteed Selection or Money-Back Mentorship Agreement ("Agreement") is made on [DATE] ("Effective Date") in the United Arab Emirates.

PARTIES

Service Provider: [UAE CONTRACTING ENTITY LEGAL NAME], trade licence number [●], registered address [●], email [●] (the “Service Provider”, “Mentor”, “we”, “us” or “our”).

Client: [CLIENT LEGAL NAME], company/trade licence number [●], registered address [●], acting through its duly authorised signatory [NAME / DESIGNATION] (the “Client”, “Company”, “Founder” or “you”).

The Service Provider and the Client are individually a “Party” and together the “Parties”.

BACKGROUND

•The Service Provider provides founder mentorship, business-show application preparation, pitch preparation, question preparation, mock sessions and related advisory under the Become Tank Ready framework.
•The Client wishes to receive preparation support for Shark Tank Dubai as the sole Covered Show, for up to two Eligible Seasons.
•The Parties intend an outcome-linked commercial arrangement: if the Client receives Final Shoot Selection for Shark Tank Dubai, the Base Fee becomes fully earned and non-refundable; if no Success Event occurs by the Refund Determination Date and the Client has complied with this Agreement, the Refund Amount will be returned.
•The Parties acknowledge that the Service Provider does not control, influence or represent any show, broadcaster, producer, casting team, panel member or platform.

1. DEFINITIONS

“Base Fee” AED 39,000 (Thirty-Nine Thousand UAE Dirhams only), inclusive of VAT where applicable. The VAT component, if chargeable, is included within AED 39,000 and must be itemised on the invoice; no VAT is added to the advertised fee.

“Covered Show” Shark Tank Dubai.

“Eligible Season” For the Covered Show, the first two bona fide application/casting seasons identified in Schedule A after the Effective Date. A season that is already open on the Effective Date counts only if Schedule A expressly states that it counts and the Client remains eligible to submit a complete application.

“Final Shoot” the principal final recorded studio/production stage of Shark Tank Dubai in which selected founders are intended to appear before the show’s principal panel, judges, investors or equivalent on-camera decision-makers.

“Final Shoot Selection” an official communication from the relevant Covered Show, producer, casting team or authorised representative confirming that the Client or its founder representative has been selected, invited or scheduled to participate in the Final Shoot. The communication may be by email, official message, portal status, letter or other verifiable written/electronic record.

“Success Event” the Client receiving Final Shoot Selection for Shark Tank Dubai during an Eligible Season. The Success Event occurs on the date the official Final Shoot Selection is communicated to the Client. Once a Success Event occurs, later withdrawal, non-attendance, rescheduling, cancellation, disqualification or change by the Client or the Covered Show does not reverse the Success Event.

“Program Term” the period beginning on the Effective Date and continuing until the earlier of: (a) a Success Event; (b) completion of two Eligible Seasons for the Covered Show; or (c) the Long-Stop Date.

“Long-Stop Date” 36 months from the Effective Date, unless extended by a written agreement signed by both Parties.

“Refund Determination Date” the first date on which the Program Term ends without a Success Event.

“Refund Amount” the Base Fee actually received by the Service Provider, less non-refundable bank/payment-gateway charges and less taxes/statutory levies to the extent already deposited with government and not lawfully recoverable or adjustable by the Service Provider.

2. SCOPE OF MENTORSHIP

During the Program Term, the Service Provider will provide preparation and strategic guidance for the Covered Show, which may include, as reasonably relevant to the Client and the stage of each application:

•application review and positioning;
•founder story and business narrative;
•business metrics, unit economics, valuation logic and funding ask preparation;
•question-bank preparation, difficult-question preparation and follow-up questioning;
•mock auditions / pressure practice;
•round-specific preparation after official communication from Shark Tank Dubai;
•pitch refinement, negotiation preparation and related strategic guidance.

The Service Provider may determine the sequencing and emphasis of preparation based on the Client’s business, stage and available deadlines. The Service Provider is an advisor and mentor; it is not responsible for operating the Client’s business, preparing audited accounts, giving legal/tax advice, or making representations to a show on the Client’s behalf unless separately agreed in writing.

3. FEE, VAT AND PAYMENT

•The Client shall pay the Base Fee of AED 39,000 in total, inclusive of applicable VAT where chargeable. The invoice shall itemise the VAT component as required by law.
•Unless otherwise stated in a signed addendum, the Base Fee is payable 100% upfront before onboarding begins.
•Any legally required withholding or applicable tax documentation shall be handled in accordance with UAE law and the signed invoice.
•Third-party costs — including travel, accommodation, show application fees (if any), professional accounting/legal services, production expenses, courier charges and similar external costs — are not included unless expressly stated in writing.
•Any refund rights of the Client shall be governed exclusively by the refund provisions set out in this Agreement.

4. SELECTION-OR-MONEY-BACK COMMERCIAL GUARANTEE

4.1 Success: If the Client receives Final Shoot Selection for Shark Tank Dubai during the Program Term, a Success Event has occurred and the Base Fee becomes fully earned and non-refundable. For the purpose of this Agreement, Final Shoot Selection shall be treated as the completed outcome, irrespective of any subsequent production or broadcast decisions of the Covered Show.

4.2 No Success Event: If no Success Event occurs by the Refund Determination Date, and the Client has materially complied with all Client Obligations in Clause 6, the Client is entitled to the Refund Amount in accordance with Clause 8.

4.3 Nature of Guarantee: This is a contractual refund guarantee tied to the defined Final Shoot Selection outcome. It is not a representation that the Service Provider controls, compels or influences any casting or selection decision.

5. COVERED SHOWS, TWO-SEASON COMMITMENT AND SEASON AVAILABILITY

•The guarantee applies only to the Covered Show expressly listed in Schedule A.
•For the Covered Show, the Parties will identify the two Eligible Seasons in Schedule A as information becomes available.
•If Shark Tank Dubai is renamed, rebranded or continued under a substantially similar successor format, the successor may be treated as the same Covered Show.
•If Shark Tank Dubai does not open two eligible application/casting seasons before the Long-Stop Date, the guarantee will nevertheless be determined on the Long-Stop Date using all Eligible Seasons that actually became available, provided the Client fulfilled its obligations for every available Eligible Season.
•A season in which the Client is legally or contractually ineligible due to facts existing before the Effective Date will not count unless the Service Provider knowingly accepted that ineligibility in Schedule A.

6. CLIENT OBLIGATIONS — CONDITION OF THE GUARANTEE

The money-back guarantee applies only if the Client actively participates in the preparation and selection process.

The Client must:

•The money-back guarantee depends on active and good-faith participation by the Client. Until a Success Event occurs, the Client shall:
•provide accurate and complete information required for preparation;
•apply to both available eligible seasons of Shark Tank Dubai within the required deadlines, unless otherwise agreed in writing;
•attend reasonable preparation sessions and provide requested information/materials on time;
•attend auditions, interviews and other selection stages when invited;
•promptly share important communication received from the Covered Show;
•not provide false information or do anything that may cause disqualification;
•not voluntarily withdraw from any application or selection process before a final decision is made, unless agreed in writing or due to genuine force majeure.

The guarantee will only be affected if the Client’s non-cooperation, delay, withdrawal, false information or other material breach reasonably affects an application or selection opportunity.

7. SERVICE PROVIDER OBLIGATIONS

•The Service Provider shall provide the mentorship and preparation services described in Clause 2 using reasonable commercial efforts, subject to the Client’s cooperation, availability and applicable show timelines.
•The Service Provider is an independent mentorship provider and is not affiliated with, employed by or authorised by Shark Tank Dubai unless expressly stated in writing.
•The Service Provider does not control casting or selection decisions and does not undertake to influence any show, producer, casting team, judge or panel member.

8. REFUND PROCESS

•A refund becomes due only after the Refund Determination Date and only if no Success Event has occurred.
•The Client must send a written refund request to the notice email in Clause 15 within 90 days after the Refund Determination Date.
•Within 15 business days after receiving the request, the Service Provider may reasonably verify completion of the Eligible Seasons and the Client’s compliance with Clause 6.
•If eligible, the Service Provider shall pay the Refund Amount within 45 business days after verification, to the same bank account from which payment was received or another account held in the Client’s legal name.
•No interest, opportunity cost, loss of profits, financing cost or consequential amount is payable on the Refund Amount.
•Banking, payment-gateway, remittance and currency-conversion charges actually incurred in receiving or returning funds are non-refundable.
•VAT and statutory levies will be handled as stated in the definition of Refund Amount and subject to applicable tax law, applicable tax-credit and adjustment rules and government processing.

9. WHAT DOES AND DOES NOT COUNT AS SUCCESS

9.1 What counts as Success: Official Final Shoot Selection for Shark Tank Dubai counts as a Success Event. Actual attendance at, participation in, recording of or airing of the Final Shoot is not required once Final Shoot Selection has been officially communicated.

9.2 What does not count by itself: Unless the communication itself constitutes Final Shoot Selection under Clause 1, the following do not constitute a Success Event:

•application submission or registration;
•shortlisting or screening approval;
•telephone, virtual or producer interview;
•document verification
•bootcamp, workshop, orientation or rehearsal;
•selection for a preliminary or non-panel recording;
•any publicity, press coverage, investor meeting or event that is not an official Final Shoot Selection.

11. FORCE MAJEURE AND SHOW-LEVEL CHANGES

Neither Party is liable for delay caused by events beyond reasonable control, including natural disasters, epidemic/pandemic restrictions, war, governmental action, platform outages, broadcaster decisions, production shutdowns, strike, serious illness or similar events. Show cancellation, delay or non-renewal before any Success Event does not create an immediate refund; the guarantee is determined under Clause 5 and the Long-Stop Date. If a Success Event has already occurred, subsequent show cancellation, postponement, rescheduling or production change does not reverse the Success Event.

12. CONFIDENTIALITY AND PUBLICITY

Each Party shall keep confidential all non-public commercial, financial, strategy, application, preparation and other confidential information received from the other Party and shall use such information only for this engagement.

Notwithstanding the above, the Client authorises the Service Provider to identify the Client’s company name and brand name as a client of Become Tank Ready in the Service Provider’s website, presentations, social media, advertisements and other marketing materials.

The Service Provider shall not publish the Client’s confidential financial information, application documents, private communications, screenshots, unpublished business information, founder photographs, testimonials, videos or selection communications without the Client’s prior written approval.

13. TERMINATION

•The Agreement automatically ends on a Success Event, completion of refund obligations, or written mutual termination.
•Voluntary Withdrawal by Client: The Client may discontinue the mentorship at any time. However, if the Client voluntarily terminates, withdraws from, or ceases to participate in the Program before a Success Event or before completion of the required two Eligible Seasons for Shark Tank Dubai, the Selection-or-Money-Back Guarantee shall cease to apply and the Base Fee shall not be refundable.
•For clarity, the Client cannot accelerate the Refund Determination Date by terminating or discontinuing the mentorship early.
•The Service Provider may terminate for a material Client breach that remains uncured after the cure period in Clause 6. If the breach materially prejudiced the guarantee, the money-back guarantee may cease to apply.
•Termination does not affect accrued payment obligations, confidentiality, dispute resolution, tax obligations or rights that by their nature survive termination.

14. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the maximum extent permitted by law, neither Party shall be liable to the other for indirect, special, punitive or consequential losses, loss of profit, loss of opportunity or reputational loss arising from this Agreement. Nothing in this Agreement excludes liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, breach of confidentiality, infringement of intellectual property, or any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

15. NOTICES

Formal notices under this Agreement shall be sent by email to the addresses stated below and will be treated as received on the next business day after successful transmission, unless a delivery failure notice is received.

16. GOVERNING LAW AND DISPUTE RESOLUTION (UAE COUNSEL TO COMPLETE)

This Agreement shall be governed by [INSERT APPLICABLE UAE EMIRATE / FREE-ZONE LAW, AS CONFIRMED BY UAE COUNSEL]. The Parties shall first attempt to resolve disputes through good-faith discussions for 30 days following written notice. Unresolved disputes shall be decided by [INSERT UAE COURT OR APPROPRIATE ARBITRATION FORUM, SEAT, LANGUAGE AND PROCEDURE AFTER UAE COUNSEL REVIEW].

17. GENERAL

•Entire Agreement. This Agreement, including its Schedules, constitutes the entire agreement on this Guaranteed Plan and supersedes prior oral or written discussions on the same subject.
•Amendments. Any amendment must be in writing and signed or electronically accepted by both Parties.
•No Waiver. Failure to enforce a right immediately does not waive that right.
•Severability. If any provision is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to the fullest extent permitted by law.
•Assignment. The Client may not assign the Agreement or guarantee rights without the Service Provider’s written consent, except as part of a genuine corporate restructuring that does not materially change the founders or business. The Service Provider may use employees/contractors to support delivery while remaining responsible for the mentorship engagement.
•Independent Parties. Nothing creates a partnership, employment, agency, fiduciary relationship or joint venture between the Parties.
•Electronic Execution. The Agreement may be signed electronically and in counterparts, each treated as an original.
•Authority. Each signatory represents that they have full authority to bind the Party they sign for. The Client shall provide board/authorised-signatory evidence on request.
•Stamping. The Parties shall complete any electronic signature, licensing, filing and other formalities required under applicable UAE law.
