1. Who We Are
Become Tank Ready is operated in India by Raghav Mahajan, Proprietor, trading as KIMCHI Industries. For personal data collected through this website and the Become Tank Ready Program, we act as the business/controller or Data Fiduciary, as applicable under relevant privacy law.
2. Information We Collect
Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect your name, email address, phone/WhatsApp number, country or region, company/business name, business stage, revenue or other business information you choose to provide, Shark Tank application status, planned ask, pitch/deck information, meeting notes, communications, Program participation information, order/payment confirmation, Digital Product purchase history, website/device information, cookie identifiers and advertising/analytics events.
Payment providers process your payment credentials. We generally receive transaction and payment-status information rather than your full card, bank or UPI credentials.
3. How We Use Information
We use information to operate the website; respond to inquiries; process purchases; schedule and deliver 1-to-1 mentorship; review founder materials; prepare applications, stories, numbers, questions and mock pitches; provide customer support; administer the Money-Back, Try Again and ₹2 Lakh Marketing Guarantees; maintain accounting, tax and business records; protect against fraud or misuse; improve our services; and send communications permitted by applicable law.
4. ₹2 Lakh Marketing Guarantee and Co-Branded Campaigns
If you qualify for and accept the ₹2 Lakh Marketing Guarantee, we may use the business and campaign information needed to plan and operate the co-branded campaign. This can include your business name and logo, founder name, approved photographs/video, product imagery, website/landing-page information, advertising-account information, campaign performance data and approved factual statements about your founder journey.
The campaign is intentionally designed to market both the founder's brand and Become Tank Ready. The permitted marketing use is governed by the Terms of Service and Refund & Guarantee Policy. We do not claim ownership of your brand assets, and we do not obtain rights to broadcaster, Shark Tank, Sony, ABC or production-company intellectual property merely because you participate in the Program.
5. Service Providers
We use third-party providers to operate the business. Depending on the service and your location, these may include Shopify for the website, checkout and order records; payment processors and financial institutions; Google services for email, files, meetings, calendars and business records; WhatsApp/Meta and messaging providers; automation tools; analytics and advertising platforms; cloud hosting and security providers; and AI-assisted tools used to help organize information, draft communications or summarize notes.
These providers process information for the services they supply and are subject to their own terms and privacy obligations. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect legal rights, to investigate fraud or security incidents, or in connection with a legitimate business transfer such as a merger or sale.
6. Advertising, Cookies and Privacy Choices
Essential website and checkout technologies may operate as necessary to provide the site. Advertising and measurement technologies may collect or receive identifiers and interaction data for analytics, attribution, retargeting and advertising, subject to the consent and privacy controls applicable to your region.
We do not sell personal information for money. However, under some U.S. state privacy laws, disclosing identifiers or browsing/activity information to advertising partners for cross-context behavioral or targeted advertising can be legally defined as a "sale", "sharing" or "targeted advertising" even when no money is exchanged. 7. Communications and Marketing
We may send operational communications needed to respond to an inquiry or deliver a purchase, including by email or WhatsApp. Marketing communications are sent in accordance with applicable consent requirements. You can ask us to stop promotional communications by replying to the message or emailing raghav@becometankready.com. Opting out of marketing does not stop transactional or service messages that are reasonably necessary to deliver something you purchased.
8. AI-Assisted Work
We may use AI-assisted software to help draft communications, summarize call notes, structure founder information, or support internal workflow. We remain responsible for how we use those tools. Do not send passwords, full payment credentials or other information that is unnecessary for the Program. Where a third-party AI provider processes data for us, its processing is treated as a service-provider activity subject to the applicable contract and privacy rules.
9. Legal Bases and Consent
We process information as reasonably necessary to provide requested services, perform a contract, operate and secure our business, comply with legal obligations, and, where required, on the basis of your consent. You may withdraw consent for consent-based processing, although doing so may prevent us from providing a feature that requires that information.
10. Cross-Border Processing
Our service providers may process or store information in India, the United States and other countries. When cross-border transfer rules apply, we use the transfer mechanisms and safeguards reasonably required for the service and jurisdiction.
11. Data Retention
We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, to administer the Program and guarantees, maintain accounting/tax records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements and comply with applicable law. Retention periods vary by record type. We may retain transaction and tax records longer than ordinary inquiry data where legally or operationally required.
12. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical and organizational measures designed to protect information. No website, email, messaging platform, cloud service or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure. If a legally reportable personal-data breach occurs, we will take the notification and remediation steps required by applicable law.
13. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion or erasure of personal data; withdraw consent; object to or restrict certain processing; request portability; or opt out of certain targeted advertising, sale or sharing. Rights are subject to legal exceptions, identity verification and applicable law.

14. India Privacy and Grievances
For India-based users, requests concerning correction, erasure, consent withdrawal or grievance redressal can be sent to our contact below. Where Indian data-protection law applies, we will handle requests and grievances in accordance with the obligations in force at the relevant time. Our Legal Notice identifies the grievance contact.
15. EEA / UK Visitors
If GDPR or UK GDPR applies to you, you may have rights including access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability, and the right to complain to your local supervisory authority. Some rights depend on the legal basis and circumstances of the processing.
16. Children's Privacy
The paid mentorship Program is intended for adults who can enter into a binding agreement. We do not knowingly solicit Program enrollment from children under 18. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us improperly, contact us so we can review it.
17. Third-Party Links and Platforms
Our site or communications may link to services we do not control. Their privacy practices apply when you interact with them. This includes payment providers, advertising platforms, messaging services and scheduling tools.
18. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when our practices or legal requirements change. We will post the updated version with a new "Last updated" date. Where applicable law requires additional notice or consent for a material change, we will provide it.
