Refund & Guarantee Policy

This policy explains the three protections included with the Become Tank Ready private mentorship Program: the Money-Back Guarantee, Try Again Guarantee and ₹2 Lakh Marketing Guarantee. It also states the refund rules for Digital Products.
1. Money-Back Guarantee
Pay for the Program, have your first completed live 1-to-1 video meeting with Raghav Mahajan, experience the mentorship, and then decide.
If the mentorship is not right for you, you may request a refund of the Program payment within 24 hours after your first completed 1-to-1 video meeting ends and before any second 1-to-1 mentorship meeting takes place.
How to Request the Refund
Your formal refund request must be received by email at raghav@becometankready.com within the 24-hour period. Use the subject line Refund Request — [Founder/Company Name] and include your name, company name, the email or phone number used at checkout, your order/payment reference if available, the date of your first meeting, and a clear statement that you want to cancel the Program under the Money-Back Guarantee.
You may also alert us by WhatsApp at +91 82876 02035, but a WhatsApp message, phone call or verbal statement alone is not the formal refund request. The email must be received within the 24-hour period.
The timestamp at which our email system receives the request determines whether it is within the guarantee period. Once an eligible request is received, future Program meetings and access may be cancelled.
What Is Refunded
The Money-Back Guarantee applies once per founder/business to the Program purchase. For the current India offer, the Program fee is ₹2,00,000 plus applicable GST. An eligible refund is based on the amount actually paid to BTR for the Program. GST will be reversed or adjusted where and to the extent permitted or required by applicable tax law and invoicing rules.
Amounts charged separately by a bank, card issuer, currency-conversion provider or other third party and not received by BTR are outside BTR's control and may not be recoverable. Eligible refunds are returned through the original payment method where reasonably available. Bank/payment-provider processing time is outside BTR's control.
International Payments
If an international customer pays through an INR checkout, the refund is processed from the INR amount actually received and eligible for refund. The customer's bank or card provider determines the exchange rate and any foreign-exchange or bank charges when the refunded INR amount is converted back to the customer's currency.
After the 24-Hour Period
After the 24-hour Money-Back Guarantee window has expired, Program payments are non-refundable except where required by applicable law or separately agreed in writing. Non-selection by Shark Tank does not create a cash-refund right; the applicable protection is the Try Again Guarantee below.
2. Try Again Guarantee
The Try Again Guarantee protects a founder who fully joins the Program, participates in preparation in good faith, and does not progress through Shark Tank in the season for which they are preparing.
To qualify, you must:
- have paid the full Program fee and not have received a Program refund or successful chargeback;
- participate in the preparation process in good faith;
- provide materially accurate business information; and
- timely complete the relevant application, materials, meetings and stage requirements that are within your control.
If those conditions are met and your Shark Tank journey for the applicable season ends because you are not selected to progress, Become Tank Ready will include your Shark Tank preparation for one next applicable season at no additional mentorship fee.
For this guarantee, non-selection includes a communicated rejection or the applicable season closing without your further progression after you timely completed the relevant requirements. It does not include voluntary withdrawal, failure to apply or submit required material, failure to attend a required stage, ineligibility caused by inaccurate information, or termination for material breach of the Program Terms.
The Try Again Guarantee is continued preparation. It is not a cash refund, cash credit, reimbursement or transferable benefit. It applies to the same founder and substantially the same business unless BTR agrees otherwise in writing. If you are selected, cast or filmed but do not receive an investment, do not close a deal, or are dissatisfied with the episode, that circumstance alone does not trigger the Try Again Guarantee.
If the next applicable season is cancelled, indefinitely delayed, or changes so materially that equivalent next-season preparation is not reasonably possible, BTR may provide the closest reasonably available equivalent preparation support.
3. ₹2 Lakh Marketing Guarantee
The ₹2 Lakh Marketing Guarantee is a success-stage marketing commitment designed to help a prepared founder capitalize on the attention created by an actual Shark Tank broadcast.
When It Is Triggered
The guarantee is triggered only when an episode featuring the enrolled founder and business is actually publicly broadcast or officially released as a Shark Tank episode after the founder has prepared with Become Tank Ready under the Program and remains in good standing under the Program Terms.
Shortlisting, selection, casting, filming, a tentative air date, a network promotional mention, receiving an investment offer, signing a term sheet, or closing a deal does not by itself trigger the guarantee. The trigger is the actual official public broadcast or release.
What the ₹2,00,000 Means
Become Tank Ready will fund and manage up to ₹2,00,000 of co-branded marketing for the founder's brand. This is a managed marketing budget, not ₹2,00,000 cash payable to the founder. It is not a refund, reimbursement, investment, loan, equity contribution, revenue share, prize or store credit, and it cannot be withdrawn, transferred, assigned or used to offset the Program fee.
BTR deploys the budget directly. Eligible campaign expenditure may include paid-media spend, platform charges and taxes, external creative production, editing, design, landing-page campaign work, founder-story content, retargeting, creator/media costs or other third-party growth activity selected for the campaign. BTR's ordinary mentorship fee is not charged against the ₹2,00,000 budget unless separately agreed in writing. The maximum aggregate financial commitment by BTR under this guarantee is ₹2,00,000, inclusive of applicable third-party platform fees and taxes paid from the campaign budget.
Co-Branded Marketing
The campaign is intentionally co-branded so it can market both the founder's brand and Become Tank Ready. By accepting or claiming the Marketing Guarantee, you authorize BTR for the campaign period to use your business name, logo, founder name, approved photographs/video, product imagery, factual founder journey and approved testimonial material in co-branded campaign creative, including attribution such as "Prepared with Become Tank Ready" or "Become Tank Ready x [Brand]".
This permission does not give BTR or the founder rights to Shark Tank, Sony, ABC, broadcaster or production-company footage, logos, music, screenshots or other third-party intellectual property. Such material may be used only where the necessary rights or permissions exist.
Campaign Control and Founder Cooperation
BTR determines the campaign channels, media mix, creative format, timing and allocation of the ₹2,00,000 budget in consultation with the founder. Campaigns may run through BTR-controlled advertising accounts, founder-controlled accounts or both. BTR will use commercially reasonable efforts to activate the campaign around the broadcast opportunity, but exact timing depends on account access, platform approval, creative readiness, the founder's website, inventory/service capacity and other operational factors.
The founder must reasonably cooperate by providing requested brand assets, permissions, legally supportable product claims, advertising/account access where needed, timely creative approvals, a functional destination/website and reasonable inventory or service capacity. If an advertising platform rejects or restricts the product or creative, required access is unavailable, the founder delays approvals, the website cannot accept traffic, inventory/service capacity is unavailable, or deployment would create legal, regulatory, platform-policy or reputational risk, BTR may pause, reallocate, defer or substitute reasonably equivalent marketing activity.
Because co-branding is part of this guarantee, refusal to permit the agreed BTR attribution or co-branded campaign may suspend the Marketing Guarantee until the parties can execute a compliant co-branded campaign. The guarantee cannot be converted into a cash payment instead.
No Marketing-Result Guarantee
The ₹2 Lakh Marketing Guarantee guarantees the defined marketing support only. It does not guarantee impressions, reach, media coverage, leads, sales, revenue, return on ad spend, profitability, investment or any other campaign or business result.
4. Effect of Refund, Chargeback or Program Termination
If the Program fee is refunded or successfully charged back, future Program access and any unused Try Again or ₹2 Lakh Marketing Guarantee associated with that purchase end, except where applicable law requires otherwise. A valid termination for a material breach of the Program Terms may also end unused guarantees to the extent permitted by law.
5. Digital Products
Ebooks, audiobooks, paid guides and other instant-access digital products are separate from the mentorship Program. Unless applicable law requires otherwise, a Digital Product is non-refundable once access has been provided.
If you are charged but do not receive access because of a genuine technical or billing failure, email raghav@becometankready.com with the order details. We will restore access, correct the billing issue, or provide an appropriate refund where required.
6. Payment Questions and Disputes
If you believe you were charged incorrectly or have a question about any guarantee, contact raghav@becometankready.com before filing a payment dispute so we can review the transaction and the service records.
7. Relationship to the Terms of Service
This policy forms part of the Terms governing the purchase. If a signed written Program agreement expressly changes a provision for a specific client, that signed agreement controls to the extent permitted by law. Nothing in this policy limits a consumer right that cannot legally be waived.
